This new line of products is the result of extensive research and development. Utilizing R-407C refrigerant and alternative compressor configurations, the performance of these units is superior in terms of efficiency. The real benefit is that the new refrigerant has none of the ODP (ozone depleting potential) characteristics identified in the standard R-22 gas, and complies with the requirements developed by the Montreal Protocol, which calls for the eventual elimination and replacement of R-22 refrigerant. |
