Rotary Switch Assemblies For Tempered Water (TW) Air Conditioning Systems
TSE, TSR and TS1A Models
Conventional rotary-type cabin switch assemblies for Cruisair tempered water systems are available in a wide assortment of configurations for maximum flexibility.
The standard three-knob switch assembly provides function selection (OFF-FAN-RUN), fan speed control, and a thermostat. A separate thermostat on the air handler allows automatic changeover between heating and cooling modes.
The two-knob TSR type switch has function control (OFF-FAN-RUN), and fan speed control. It is used with a remote thermostat, or in situations where a thermostat is not needed, such as in an engine room or on a make-up air handling unit with a bypass valve.
TS1A switch provides blower control (OFF-LOW-HIGH) for 2-speed make-up air handling units with no bypass valve.
Switches are also available for use with auxiliary heat modules, but an HRX type heat relay may be needed in certain cases.
All assemblies are available with brown or black switch plates, for either 115V or 230V air handlers, and include a color-coded terminal strip for easy wiring. Thermostat bulb (TSE type only) is on a ten foot capillary tube, and should be mounted in the return air of the air handler. Maximum fan current must not exceed 4 amps on variable fan speed controls.
