Rotary Switch Assemblies For DX Remote and Self-Contained Systems (Air)

Cruisair electromechanical rotary-knob switches provide reliable positive control over basic air conditioning functions.

The SA1 and SA3 switch assemblies contain three knobs, which are used to control the thermostat, adjust fan speed and select functions (off-fan-run). SA1 models are used with cooling-only systems, and SA3 models are used with reverse-cycle heating and cooling systems.

The three-knob switches include an anticipating-type thermostat with a 10-ft capillary tube. The thermostat is installed in the return air path, and the anticipator sensor is installed on the discharge side, to provide accurate temperature control.

SA4-type single-knob switches provide fan control only, and are used in split systems when two or more cooling units are linked to a single remote condensing unit.

Standard switchplate colors are black and brown. Standard models are vertical, but most are also available in horizontal configuration on special order. The rotary switch assemblies work with 115 or 230V systems. Wiring connections are made through color-coded terminal strips.
